Vervet Monkey (Chlorocebus pygerythrus)

Overview
The vervet monkey is a medium-sized primate native to sub-Saharan Africa. Recognizable by its black face, white eyebrows, and grizzled-grey fur, it exhibits sexual dimorphism—males are larger and display distinctive turquoise-blue scrotums. These agile monkeys inhabit diverse environments, including savannas, riverine woodlands, and even urban areas.
